Terms of Use – Running Lights

Introduction
These terms of use apply to the use of Running Lights, an activity operated by Naise BV. Running Lights is an interactive play area where users can play games by tapping colored tiles. The space is fully automated and unmanned. By making a booking, entering the space, or using the play area, you agree to these terms.

Access and age restrictions
- The minimum age for participation is 8 years.
- Users under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
The access code you receive is personal and non-transferable. Sharing this code with others is prohibited and may result in denied access or liability for misuse of the space.

Bookings, cancellations and refunds
Bookings are made through the Running Lights website and processed via Stripe.
- A booking can be rebooked free of charge if the desired time slot is available.
- If rebooking is not possible, a refund can be requested up to 24 hours before the booked time slot.
- For no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours, no refunds will be provided.
- The access code will only be sent after successful payment.

Use of space
- It is not permitted to bring your own food or drinks.
- Only the use of our vending machine drinks is permitted in the play area.
- Food and drinks must never be placed or consumed on the playing floor to prevent damage or defects.
- Every user is obliged to treat the space and the material with care.
In the event of damage, vandalism, or misuse, Naise BV may recover the costs incurred from the user involved. CCTV footage can serve as evidence.
- Playing on the court floor with shoes that have high soles can decrease accuracy.

Liability and safety
- Participation in Running Lights is at your own risk.
Naise BV cannot be held liable for bodily injury, loss of, or damage to personal belongings, except in the case of intent or gross negligence on the part of Naise BV.
- Users must at all times respect the instructions displayed in the space or on the website.

Camera surveillance and privacy
- The Running Lights area is equipped with security cameras for surveillance and protection against vandalism or misuse.
- The processing of these images and other personal data is done in accordance with our Running Lights Privacy Statement (available via the website).
- Camera images can only be used for marketing purposes if the user has given explicit permission for this when booking.

Marketing and atmospheric images
Naise BV may use Running Lights images and videos for promotional purposes, provided that the individuals involved have given permission for this when booking.
- Users may take photos and videos in the space, as long as this does not cause a nuisance or violate the privacy of other people present.
- It is not permitted to film or photograph other persons without permission.

Intellectual property
The entire Running Lights concept (including name, software, game design, floor structure, and technical operation) is owned by Naise BV.
It is prohibited to copy, reproduce, or commercially use Running Lights, or any similar automated concept, in whole or in part, without prior written permission from Naise BV.
- Infringements of these intellectual property rights may lead to legal action.

Termination of access
Naise BV reserves the right to deny or terminate access to users if:
- the terms of use are not complied with,
- there is abuse, vandalism or disruptive behavior,
- or when the safety of other users or the material is at risk.

 

House Rules

Naise BV has house rules that must be followed when entering the game floor location. Failure to comply with these house rules may result in Naise BV imposing a fine and, where necessary, notifying the appropriate authorities. The amount of any fine is always stated in the house rules available on the website and displayed on the premises. By making a booking and/or entering the game floor premises, you agree to these house rules.

Applicable law
These terms of use are governed by Belgian law.
In case of disputes, only the court of the judicial district of Kortrijk has jurisdiction.
